A major new report outlining how Cardiff is tackling the challenges facing society has revealed greater collaboration and teamwork by public bodies in the area. The Cardiff Local Well-Being Plan 2023-28 has been put together by the Cardiff Public Services Board (PSB), which brings together leaders and decision makers from groups including Cardiff Council, The Cardiff and Vale Health Board, Welsh Government, charities, and the fire, police and probation services. Paul Scanlon, 53 was diagnosed with Stage 3 bowel cancer in April 2022. He was told he would have to have an operation where they would remove his large bowel and that he would have to live with a stoma. Talented students from Stagecoach Performing Arts in Swansea, Pontypridd & the Valleys, Bridgend & Cowbridge, Cardiff, Cwmbran & Monmouth, Carmarthen and Caerphilly took to the stage at the New Theatre Cardiff for a glamorous showcase on Sunday, 12th March 2023.  The students made the most of the fantastic opportunity to perform fan favourites from films such as ‘Wizard of Oz’, ‘Mary Poppins’, alongside heart-warming renditions of world-famous artists, from the likes of Queen, Elvis, and Tim Minchin to name a few.
