S4C will broadcast Wales’ senior men’s international football matches until 2028 in a new deal struck with partner Viaplay. Welsh language coverage will include the next two UEFA Nations League campaigns for 2024/25 and 2026/27, the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifying matches and the UEFA EURO 2028 qualifying matches. Harry Styles will be performing at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on June 20 and June 21, and a full city centre road closure will be in place by 12 noon. A popular tennis scheme which has boosted the number of people taking up the sport in the Cardiff suburb of Heath, and which would see significant sums of money invested into local tennis courts, could be rolled out to six other parks across the city. Tennis Wales, the governing body for Tennis in Wales, has approached Cardiff Council with a plan which could see £750,000 invested in 29 of the city’s tennis courts.
