The Calon y Fferi Community Centre in Ferryside recently launched its new ‘Warm Space,’ as it looks to tackle the cost-of-living crisis, offering local residents a warm, dry place to socialise. Plans to open a new law centre in North Wales have been given a huge boost thanks to a grant from the Steve Morgan Foundation. The North Wales Law Centre Steering Group was created by a network of individuals from the local voluntary and legal sectors, and the wider access to justice community, to tackle the lack of free legal advice in the area. In a recent inspection of Thornhill Primary School in Cardiff, ESTYN found thatpupils enjoy attending school and make notable progress in their social skills. New entrants – along with existing runners – are being invited to get their entries in for the 2023 Admiral Swansea Bay 10k. Blaenau Gwent Council welcomes the £9 million investment awarded as part of the UK Government’s Levelling Up fund.
