Poundland has set out plans to offer an alternative to the big grocers by accelerating ‘Project Diamond’ which will bring new ranges to between 275 and 300 more stores between now and Autumn 2023. A colourful city centre parade and celebratory event marked the formal end to a popular Swansea public art trail. The giant artist-designed globes that formed the centrepiece of the city’s The World Reimagined initiative are set to remain in St David’s Square until the middle of November. Wales rugby fans and bus users in Cardiff are being urged to plan their journeys ahead of time as the Autumn Internationals return to the city this weekend. Customers are being reminded by Cardiff Bus of diversions and road closures which are set to come into force on Saturday 5 November from 11:15 until 19:15 as Wales take on New Zealand at the Principality Stadium. Another set of rail strikes will take place this weekend and into next week, which will significantly reduce the number of trains able to run. Industrial action will take place on Saturday 5, Monday 7 and Wednesday 9 November. This means services will be severely disrupted from Saturday 5 November up to and including Wednesday 9 November. Celtic Couriers, part of The APC delivery network – the largest independent parcel delivery network in the UK – has today announced the opening of a new operational depot at Llangennech in South Wales.
