More than one million claimant families receiving tax credits, and no other means-tested benefits, will get their second Cost of Living Payment from Wednesday 23 November 2022, HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has confirmed. This £324 government payment will be paid automatically into most eligible tax credit-only customers’ bank accounts between 23 and 30 November 2022 across the United Kingdom. Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB are delighted to announce that the planned new state of the art diagnostic unit for the Health Board is due to open at the end of January 2023.  The Centre will be situated in the Gwaun Elai health park, just alongside the Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Llantrisant. Transport charity Sustrans has launched a new schools resource, developed in line with the new Welsh curriculum, to promote awareness of walking, wheeling, and cycling as modes of travel among learners across Wales. Last academic year, Sustrans’ work with students across Wales helped to increase the level of walking, wheeling, and cycling by 24.6% and decreased car use by 29.9% on the school run. Denbighshire Leisure will be lighting up buildings this October in support of Breast Cancer Now’s Wear it Pink Day. Ruthin Craft Centre, Rhyl Sky Tower, Rhyl Pavilion Theatre, 1891 Restaurant and Bar and the Events Arena waterfall will all be illuminated in pink on October 21st to support this annual event.
