St Fagans Castle will be closed for three months to begin essential roof repairs and conservation work, as part of a major investment by the Welsh Government into Amgueddfa Cymru’s historic buildings. Business confidence across Wales gained further momentum in December and ticked up to a ten-month high while business activity fell only slightly amid a renewed increase in new orders, according to the latest Cymru Growth Tracker data from NatWest. A Vale of Glamorgan man who had a cardiac arrest while walking his dogs has been reunited with the passerby who helped to save his life. Alan Hale, 75, was walking his two Shih-Tzus in Sully on a Saturday morning in December when he collapsed without warning. Passerby Rachel Green, who was driving to a nearby gym, stopped her car having seen the two dogs running loose.
