A North Wales construction firm will continue to grow its footprint in Mid-Wales as it commences work on the development of a new additional learning needs school in Powys. Rail passengers are advised not to travel unless their journey is essential on a number of routes this Saturday (30 July) due to the impact of industrial action. Business confidence in Wales rose seven points during July to 30%, according to the latest Business Barometer from Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking. Companies in Wales reported higher confidence in their own business prospects month-on-month, up 13 points at 41%.  When taken alongside their optimism in the economy, up two points to 19%, this gives a headline confidence reading of 30%. Welsh firms identified their top target areas for growth in the next six months as diversifying into new markets (40%), investing in their teams (40%) and evolving their offering with new products or services (31%). Many people think to call the RSPCA for help but the charity, whose focus is on rescuing animals who are sick, injured or being badly treated, is urging people to contact their local dog warden.
