The fast-growing Jones Village Bakery in Wrexham is aiming to recruit 30 new apprentices over the next two years. It’s part of a major expansion by the family firm who have just invested £16 million in a new, high-tech production line and announced plans to create a total of 100 extra jobs. The team from National Trust Gower recently donated five cherry blossom trees to pupils from Knelston Primary school, to support the children with education around wildlife and climate change. The school was the first in the area to receive the trees, with the objective of increasing a nature-focused space for everyone to enjoy, whilst supporting local nature and wildlife.
