Children and young people in Wales are not able to access mental health support when they need it, leaving them feeling ‘isolated and hopeless’, Mind Cymru has found. North Wales Police are set to roll out an innovative new tactic in Rhyl and the wider Denbighshire Coastal area in a bid to combat rising incidents of anti-social behaviour. A further slowdown was evident in the housing market in Wales during August according to the latest Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Residential Market Survey, with the price balance at its lowest since January 2024, and surveyors remaining cautious about the outlook. A net balance of -24% of surveyors in Wales reported that prices fell over the past three months, after falling flat in the survey previous.
