The future of Corwen Football Club has been secured for the next 20 years thanks to Rhug Estate providing a long-term commitment of land for a sports field. Corwen Community Football Organisation has a thriving junior section with over 110 boys and girls playing in a variety of teams with an age range of four to 16 years. The first of the two builds is a Welsh medium primary school in Rhydyfelin, in the greater Pontypridd area.
