The sight of bluebells carpeting a woodland floor can be breathtaking – but the popular spring outing is in danger of becoming increasingly rare, Coed Cadw (the Woodland Trust in Wales) has warned. House prices in Wales have risen by 3% in the first quarter of 2022 to a new record average price of £233,361, despite high transaction levels beginning to ease off. The figures have been released from Principality Building Society’s Wales House Price Index for Q1 2022 (January-March), which demonstrates the rise and fall in house prices in each of the 22 local authorities in Wales.
