The existing bus station building will be taken down and there will be some minor changes to the junction layout. Pembrokeshire County Council’s Museum Service has secured a £20,000 grant from the Pilgrim Trust to carry out essential conservation and building repairs to a historic Pembrokeshire cottage. Penrhos Cottage near Llanycefn, Maenclochog is Pembrokeshire’s last surviving tŷ unnos, or overnight cottage, a building deeply rooted in Welsh cultural history. A court has ordered a woman to pay Pembrokeshire County Council more than £99,000 in costs following an operation to remove 26 dogs from a property in Puncheston. Following serious concerns for their health and welfare, Council officers seized 20 adult dogs and six puppies from a property known as Penlan Oleu, Puncheston, after exercising powers under Section 18 of the Animal Welfare Act 2006. A nationwide search is underway for 9,000 volunteers to be at the heart of the historic Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift Grand Départs in the UK in July 2027. Around 1,000 volunteers will be needed in Wales for the third stage of the men’s race on 4 July. Police searching for missing Tonypandy man Steven Faulkner have confirmed that a body has been found. The 66-year-old had been missing from his home since Friday, May 23, prompting an extensive search involving officers and specialist resources. In an update issued last night, police confirmed that a body had been located during the search operation. Steven’s family has been informed. Four more people have been convicted over the murder of a woman in Rhondda Cynon Taf in March last year. Police were called to an address at Llys Illtyd, Talbot Green, at 6.10pm on Sunday, March 9, 2025, where Joanne Penney was found seriously injured having been shot to the chest.
