Two men have died following a road traffic collision near Porthmadog on Saturday night. North Wales Police were called shortly before 9:30pm on Saturday, December 20 following a collision between an Isuzu recovery truck and a VW Golf. Sadly, the driver of the recovery vehicle, 34-year-old Matthew Hardy, from Pwllheli, was pronounced dead at the scene and his family are being supported by specially trained Family Liaison Officers. A man who survived a brutal attack outside a Cardiff train station more than 20 years ago has died, with an inquest confirming the assault contributed to his death. Bridgend County Borough Council has updated its school attendance policy in support of its ‘Miss School, Miss Out’ campaign and to bring it in line with the latest national guidance from Welsh Government.
