Porthcawl’s land train is having a spooky Halloween makeover, complete with decorations, music, and sweets for kids. Train operator and homelessness charity Emmaus South Wales will be running its Halloween-themed service during the half-term week from Monday 25 October to Sunday 31 October. The scaffolding came down to reveal the new mural on the exterior wall at Theatr Gwaun on Friday 24thSeptember and it has had a very positive reception from the people of Fishguard and Goodwick. The mural was commissioned by Ancient Connections, a cross-border arts, heritage and tourism project, linking North Pembrokeshire and North Wexford, funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Ireland Wales co-operation programme.
