Two police officers waded into the freezing sea yesterday morning to rescue a vulnerable man. PC Dean Greenslade and PC John Curry responded to a concern for welfare call about the man on Aberavon beach front at 8am this morning. The Outward Bound Trust are offering 1000 free days of adventure in North Wales and the Lake District this summer to help the young people most affected by lockdown. The adventure days have been made possible through a new donation of £100,000 from Barratt Developments and priority will be given to young people who are eligible for free school meals. A national charity is calling on people in Wales to put their best foot forward in a five-mile walk to raise funds for vital services and lifesaving research to help stop people dying of bowel cancer. South Wales Police serious collision investigation unit is continuing to appeal for witnesses following the fatal road traffic collision which happened at around 5.50am on Wednesday 27th May 2020 on the A48 Crack Hill, Brocastle. A Bill to ban the use of wild animals in travelling circuses in Wales has been passed by the Senedd. The Bill was introduced just over a year ago, following consultation which saw thousands of members of the public make their views known.
