The Aloud Charity have gathered their mass virtual choir Everyone Aloud for a special St David’s Day performance, with Sir Bryn Terfel joining as a soloist. The charity asked members of the public to submit videos of themselves singing in order to join the virtual choir, and they received over 100 videos from across the world, from the USA to Japan, Germany to Holland. A boys choir that wowed judges on hit TV show  Britain’s Got Talent is looking to have the same impact in Japan. Only Boys Aloud will be taking part in a televised concert in the Land of the Rising Sun with three Japanese youth choirs from the cities of Kitakyushu, Kumamoto and Oita that hosted the Welsh Rugby team and so warmly welcomed Wales during the World Cup in 2019. A bespoke gaming room has been developed at Coleg y Cymoedd ready for the launch of two new specialised video game development courses at the college later this year.
