People across Cardiff are getting essential bus travel advice as 10,000 runners prepare to lace up their shoes for this year’s Cardiff 10k on Sunday 1 September. South Wales Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man in Barry. Officers were called at around 5.50am today (Wednesday, August 28) to Barry Intermodal Terminal, Wimborne Road, following the discovery of a body. The UK’s leading feline welfare charity is renewing its call for air gun licensing in England and Wales after caring for two cats that needed surgery to remove air gun pellets. In the last two months Cats Protection’s Bridgend Adoption Centre took in two stray cats from different areas of Wales who had both sadly been shot.
