Cardiff and Vale College has become the first college in Wales to gain the green light from the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) enabling it to offer and award more Higher Education courses following a successful Gateway Review. Events company Genero Productions has leased a 10,345 sq ft industrial unit on the Ty Verlon Industrial Estate in Barry. The Penarth-based company provides services and products including event planning and production, exhibition stand design, video production, and sound and lighting equipment hire. Members of the public are being asked to contribute their memories of the first moon landing for a new exhibition which opens at Ceredigion Museum in Aberystwyth next month.
