South Wales Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision that occurred shortly after midnight on Tuesday 30th April 2019 at A48 Brocastle from Pentre Meyrick Cross towards Bridgend. A grey VW Polo vehicle left the carriageway and collided with undergrowth. The 26 year old male driver of the VW was conveyed to Princess of Wales hospital in Bridgend where he is undergoing treatment for serious injuries. A former Christ College Brecon pupil has walked up Pen y Fan, South Wales’ highest peak, for 365 consecutive days. Male prisoners are much more likely than men in the wider population to have suffered childhood adversities such as child maltreatment or living in a home with domestic violence, according to a new report by Public Health Wales and Bangor University. Dementia patients at a local hospital are “over the moon” with a donation of over £4,300 from generous staff at Cardiff Bus.
