Many people in Wales are in the dark about the links between diabetes to coronary heart disease, which is the leading cause of heart attacks, according to a survey commissioned by the British Heart Foundation (BHF). The survey found that just 37% of adults in Wales were aware of the link. [aoa id=”1″] Around 195,000 adults have been diagnosed with diabetes in Wales. An eighty-two-year-old man has started a seven-year jail term after he was convicted of sexually abusing a child. David Henry Williams was sentenced on Monday (April 1), after a jury found him guilty of two counts of inciting a boy under 13 to engage in sexual activity, and one count of sexually assaulting a boy under 13. The Government’s business rates multiplier came into force on 1 April.
