A series of tennis events brought together more than 250 school pupils from across Swansea. The three weeks of Jim Lightbody Swansea Primary Schools Tennis Festivals were hosted at secondary schools and on tennis courts at Sketty’s De La Beche Park. Main roads into Swansea city centre are set to be resurfaced as part Swansea Council’s latest highway maintenance plans. The Council has just published its schedule for road resurfacing schemes for 2025/26, which features more than 30 roads that will be upgraded along all or part of their overall length. Two major routes included in the upgrade will target parts of Carmarthen Road and Fabian Way.
