Work to improve the exterior of Singleton Hospital’s main block will start this month at a cost of around £400,000, with Welsh Government support. ONE of Wales’ leading aluminium fabricators, Dudley’s Aluminium, has secured a high-profile project with Buckingham Group Contracting for GKN Aerospace. Together they will support the development of the multi-technology aerospace supplier’s new R&D facility in Bristol. A team of accountants and tax experts from South Wales have pulled on their overalls to support the Prop Appeal at Rookwood Hospital. Five members of staff from Kilsby Williams came together to renovate the hospital’s outdoor equipment in Cardiff. The hospital in Llandaff is one of the few spinal rehab units in the UK specialising in rehabilitation care for patients with brain injuries. The Prince of Wales has made a special visit to South Wales Police headquarters as part of celebrations to mark the force’s 50th anniversary. On 1st June 1969, the predecessor forces of Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Swansea, and Cardiff came together and a new force came into being.
