Sportspeople, volunteers, coaches, and clubs took centre stage for the Swansea Sports Awards, held in association with Freedom Leisure.
The Brangwyn Hall was bustling with 500 people who came together to honour the standout sporting achievements of 2025 across Swansea, and were presented by ultra endurance athlete and TV presenter, Lowri Morgan.
More than 100 nominations were submitted across 15 award categories, with the shortlisted finalists representing an eclectic mix of community clubs, grassroots programmes, and sporting disciplines.Tracey McNulty, Head of Cultural Services, Parks and Cleansing, said: “These awards once again highlight the incredible depth of sporting talent we have in Swansea.
“It was a real privilege to share in the excitement of the evening and to see athletes, teams, coaches, and volunteers recognised for the contribution they make to sport in Swansea. Our Sport and Health team is grateful to everyone who took the time to nominate their 2025 sporting champions.
“This year’s winners reflect the full spectrum of our sporting community, from the volunteers and coaches who give countless hours behind the scenes, to the dedicated individuals and teams who continue to excel in their disciplines.
“Sport and physical activity are essential to people’s health and well-being, and we’re grateful for the commitment shown by our community champions.
