A group of friends are gearing up to raise money for Hospice of the Valleys by flipping a tractor tyre for 10 kilometres around Bryn Bach Park in Tredegar, South Wales. Wales’ largest startup and coworking community, Welsh ICE has teamed up with Caerphilly County Borough Council (CCBC) to hold a hackathon event, with the goal of finding solutions to foundational economy challenges. Twenty-four members of the transplant unit at the University Hospital of Wales are getting their running shoes on for the Cardiff Metropolitan University Cardiff 10K on September 1.
