The 72-year-old cyclist who was hospitalised following a serious collision on Dunleavy Drive, Grangetown, on May 17 (2025), sadly died in hospital on Friday, June 20. A money-saving public transport offer is set to be brought back for the summer in Swansea Swansea Council’s free bus initiative, which gives the public the chance to ride for free on all service buses operating within the city limits, will once again operate each weekend during the summer holidays. A father and daughter from Llanelli will be taking part in the 2025 Brecon Carreg Porthcawl 10K to raise money and awareness for the Brain Tumour Charity.
