The number of house sales in Wales fell at the fastest rate seen since early 2023 according to the latest Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Residential Market Survey, and surveyors are cautious about the outlook. A Bridgend man went on an indiscriminate burglary spree before being caught by patrolling officers. John Jones, 37, was arrested in the early hours of Friday, March 14, in the Wildmill area of Bridgend. He was caught in possession of property which he’d stolen from houses just minutes before. Just after midnight on March 14, he entered a house in Litchard via a kitchen window. A 29-year-old man from Gwynedd has been imprisoned for raping a teenage girl. Kyle Martin John Parry, formerly of the Caernarfon area, appeared at Caernarfon Crown Court on Tuesday, 10 June. Parry, who had previous convictions for sexually assaulting a five-year-old boy in 2017, was sentenced to eight years and nine months in prison for the historic offences. His sentence related to charges of sexual activity with a child, and sexual assault by penetration. The victim was 15 years-old when the offences occurred in 2015.
