Tuesday afternoon commuters are facing delays on two key routes in South Wales as congestion builds during the rush hour. Traffic Wales has reported slow moving traffic on the A4232 northbound between Culverhouse Cross and Junction 33 at Capel Llanilltern. Drivers heading towards the M4 are experiencing delays as traffic volumes increase. Further disruption is also being reported on the A470 northbound between Coryton and Taffs Well, with congestion affecting traffic heading out of Cardiff. A brother and sister from Caerphilly who launched a coffee company in memory of their late father have already raised £2,000 for charity. Welshpool Library will be re-opening in its usual home, Y Lanfa, on Friday 20 March, after the completion of building works. It follows its extension and refurbishment as part of a major project to restore the Montgomery Canal. Pantside Footbridge has been successfully reinstalled following a series of overnight works, though it will remain closed for several more weeks while final safety checks are carried out. A Wrexham man has been jailed for raping and sexually assaulting a child. William Davies, 32, of no fixed abode, was found guilty of rape following a trial at Mold Crown Court in January. He admitted assault by penetration of a child and sexual assault. At Mold Crown Court on Tuesday 10 March, Davies was jailed for 12 years. He was also handed a 15-year sexual harm prevention order and subject to notification requirements for life. A 15-year restraining order was also put in place to protect the victim.
