Little Callum Roberts’ face will be on the front of 30,000 envelopes landing through letterboxes this week with the goal of raising £75,000 for the charity through donations and its summer raffle. Neighbourhood police officers have intercepted a suspected drug deal in Cardiff city centre, leading to the seizure of class A drugs and the arrest of a 41 year old man. Officers from the Cardiff Bay Neighbourhood Policing Team were on patrol in Callaghan Square at around 3pm on Saturday afternoon when they witnessed what they believed to be a drug transaction taking place. A Porth man has been jailed for the rape of a woman he met on a dating app. Dexter Walkey, 30, was found guilty following a trial at Cardiff Crown Court. The court heard they had been on a night out in Cardiff and returned to the victims home address. She then woke to discover the defendant having sex with her which she had not consented to.
