Four men have been jailed after they were caught selling class A drugs on the streets of Swansea. 58-year-old Barry Iylett, from Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, was intercepted by plain-clothed officers from the Organised Crime Team when he was in the middle of a drug deal in the St. Thomas area on September 9 last year. Officers’ investigation quickly tied Iylett to the ‘Marlow’ drugs line and established the AirBNB he had been staying in. Drivers heading through parts of Cardiff and the surrounding area are being warned to expect delays during Monday afternoon’s rush hour due to congestion on two key routes. According to Traffic Wales, there is currently congestion on the A4232 northbound between Culverhouse Cross and Junction 33 at Capel Llanilltern. The busy stretch of road, which links the western side of Cardiff with the M4 motorway, is experiencing heavier than usual traffic as commuters make their way home. A road in Coytrahen, near Bridgend, has been closed following a serious collision. South Wales Police confirmed they are currently at the scene on Oak Terrace, where the road has been shut between Oak Terrace and the junction of Heol Clawdy. Emergency services remain at the scene and the closure is expected to remain in place for some time while the incident is dealt with. Motorists are being urged to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible, with delays expected on surrounding roads. A man has been jailed for assaulting three children in the park, following a South Wales Police investigation. Luke Jancouski, 39, of Trecynon has been sentenced to one year and six months in prison following his conviction. The sentencing took place on Thursday March 5 at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court where Jancouski pleaded guilty to two counts of assault causing ABH and one further count of assault by beating. The court heard how, in early January 2026, three 11-year-old children were playing in Aberdare Park when they were approached by Jancouski. He then proceeded to assault the children.
