The Cardiff branch of BrewDog is set to close after the craft beer company entered administration, with 38 bars across the UK shutting immediately. The Westgate Street venue, which opened in summer 2014, was BrewDog’s first bar in Wales. The police investigation into the serious incident which happened on Felindre Road, Pencoed, in the early hours of Saturday, February 28, is now being treated as murder. South Wales Police have confirmed the 58-year-old man who was critical in hospital passed away earlier today – his family are being supported by specially trained officers at this time. Police have confirmed that all pupils and staff were safely released from Maesydderwen Comprehensive School in Ystradgynlais this afternoon following a reported telephone threat. Officers were called to the school earlier today, Monday, 2 March, after a threat was made over the phone.
