Law firm Blake Morgan has announced 16 new summer promotions across its Cardiff office, reflecting another year of strong performance and the depth of talent within its Wales team.

The promotions span a broad range of practice groups and business support functions, from Commercial Litigation and Regulatory through to Private Client, Human Resources, and Business Development. They include new Senior Associates, Associates, a Paralegal, and several key business support appointments.

The Regulatory team has seen several promotions in this round, with Jermel Anderson, Jamila Bernard-Stevenson, and Ben Schofield all stepping up to Senior Associate, alongside new Associates Luke Williams and Kevin Barrow (FCILEx).

The Property Services team has also seen significant progression, with Jonathan Williams and Emma Gardner both stepping up to Senior Associate. The team’s promotions reflect continued growth in Blake Morgan’s Cardiff real estate practice.

In Commercial Litigation, Holly Spencer-Biggs has been promoted to Senior Associate, while Sophie Latham takes on the same role in Construction. Emma Bilton joins as a new Associate in the Construction team.

Ben Wilson has been promoted to Associate in the Employment, Pensions, Benefits and Immigration (EPBI) team, and Inga Januziene has been appointed as a Paralegal within Commercial Litigation. In Private Client, Anne Hayman takes on the role of Legal Support Assistant.

Several important business support promotions have also been confirmed. Kathryn Seaward has been appointed Head of EDI — a role that underscores the firm’s ongoing commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion — and Allison Miller joins the HR team as Senior HR Advisor. In Business Development and Marketing, Tom Marsh has taken on the role of Client Listening Lead.

Lee Fisher, Joint Co-Head of the Wales Office at Blake Morgan, said:

“Our summer promotions are always a moment to pause and celebrate the talent, commitment and achievement of colleagues here in Wales. This is a strong and well-deserved group of promotions, spanning a wide range of practice areas and support functions, and each one reflects the individual contribution those colleagues make every day to our clients and to the firm.

“These promotions also speak to our ambition for the Wales office, to continue growing a team of exceptional lawyers and business professionals who are deeply committed to the communities and clients they serve. I want to congratulate everyone on their well-deserved promotions, and thank them for their continued dedication and hard work.”
