At 6pm on Monday 1st March 2021, choirs from across the Caerphilly borough will come together to sing in a fantastic online event to celebrate St David’s Day.

To join in you don’t need any special equipment, you just need to visit www.facebook.com/cwtshcymru at 6pm on the 1st March and you will be able to view the live stream and join in from the comfort of your own home!

Throughout the pandemic, many of our local choirs have been staying in touch with each other via online meetings. Nerys Porch of Caerphilly’s Male Voice Choir has been working closely with social enterprise RecRock to organise this chance for everyone in the Caerphilly area to come together to sing along with the choirs.

The event is supported by Caerphilly Council and the Integrated Wellbeing Network, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.

To make it even easier to follow along, words will be shown on screen for you.

So grab a Welsh cake and a cuppa and come and join in with ‘Caerphilly Sings!’
