Mermaid Quay is thrilled to announce it will be hosting its first classic car event, Classics on the Quay, in partnership with the South Wales Classic Car Club on Saturday 15th June 2024.

From 10:00am to 3:00pm, the free event will be showcasing a wide array of unique and beautiful classic cars which are set to impress any car enthusiast.

In addition to the fantastic lineup of classic cars, the event also promises to be a fun day out for the entire family with free face painting and a range of restaurants, café’s and bars to visit for a pit stop.

Becky Jones, Marketing Manager at Mermaid Quat said: “We are delighted to be working with South Wales Classic Car Club to bring this fantastic event to Mermaid Quay.

“The club was formed by a small group of enthusiasts back in 1983 and has since grown into an organisation which prides itself on creating opportunities for people to meet fellow old and modern classic enthusiasts and form new friendships based on a common interest. At Mermaid Quay we have always embraced our community and put huge importance on building relationships and providing a space for people to gather, so we can’t wait to bring this fantastic event to the waterfront.

“Whether you’re a classic car aficionado or simply looking for a fun family outing, this event is not to be missed.”
