Cardiff Bus customers are being alerted to route diversions as a result resurfacing work taking place in Cadoxton.

Cowbridge Street, Barry will be closed for resurfacing between 09:30 and 15:30 on Thursday 3rd, Friday 4th, Monday 7th and Tuesday 8thMarch, impacting the section of road past the former Three Bells Pub, Cadoxton between Church Road and Bridge Street.

As a result, Routes 93, 94 will see diversions towards Cardiff, however journeys towards Barry will be unchanged. Route 95 towards Cardiff and Barry will also be diverted to avoid the road works.

Gareth Stevens, Commercial Director of Cardiff Bus, reminds customers to plan their journeys before travelling.

He said: “We are set to divert some bus routes as a result of essential road resurfacing that will be taking place in Barry. We will do everything possible to minimise the impact these route changes will have on our customers.  The alterations we have put in place are the shortest, and most efficient routes to minimise the disruption caused.

“We apologise for any inconvenience these diversions may cause and we would encourage all our customers to check details before travelling.”
