A Cardiff man caught with a kilo of cocaine has been jailed.
Shaho Fatah ran away from officers into undergrowth but his bid for freedom came to end thanks to police dog Alfie.

Cocaine, worth between £23k and £32k, and around £1.5k cash, was found in the car Fatah was driving.

Detective Sergeant Dominic Belotti, from South Wales Police, said:“Officers stopped a blue Range Rover SVR being driven by Shaho Fatah on Southern Way in Rumney during the early hours of Saturday, February 17.
“He ran from the car into nearby undergrowth but was quickly located by a police dog and arrested.
“Fatah initially denied being involved in drug dealing, but later pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine on the basis that he was instructed to deliver the drugs to another person only, for financial reward. “

The 27-year-old from Riverside was sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court on Monday, June 18 to three years in prison.
