Cardiff-based software company Method4 is sponsoring the Best Tech Workplace award at the Wales Technology Awards on October 20.

The awards, which take place in Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel, celebrate the most talented and innovative people in the tech industry in Wales.

At the forefront of technological excellence in Cardiff’s vibrant tech scene, Method4 provides innovative software and consultancy services with specialised knowledge of cloud web applications and information systems.

Now in its 18th year, the company’s public sector clients include Senedd/Welsh Parliament, Welsh Government, the WJEC, and Education Scotland. It also works for clients such as VocaLink, Mastercard, PAY.UK, LINK, and Sony.

Method4 has grown significantly over the past five years – from 30 to 50 people – and is now actively recruiting software developers, team leaders, business analysts, scrum masters and agile software developers.

It operates a hybrid working environment, with staff able to work at home and in its Cardiff office.

“We decided to sponsor this award because it reflects our commitment to creating a workplace in which our team can thrive – including providing them with the flexibility to choose their place of work,” said Method4 managing director Christian Coates.

“The Wales Technology Awards are a very important event in the calendar for all technology companies in Wales,” he added. “They highlight the talent and innovation in our sector, and as a board member for the awards I’m especially proud to be sponsoring the Best Tech Workplace Award. In a competitive marketplace, an excellent workplace environment is essential to the success of tech businesses.”
