    Careers Wales hosts recruitment event in Merthyr Tydfil

    Working Wales, in partnership with EE, is hosting a recruitment event for individuals looking to kickstart their careers through exciting apprenticeship opportunities.

    The event will take place at the Careers Wales centre in Merthyr Tydfil, where attendees can learn more about the apprenticeship roles available at EE’s Merthyr Tydfil call centre.

    Event Details:

    • Date: Thursday 9 January 2025
    • Time: There are 3 sessions available: 10am – 11am, 12pm – 1pm, 2pm – 3pm
    • Location: Merthyr Tydfil Careers Wales Centre, 27 High Street, Merthyr Tydfil, CF47 8DP

    There are 42 Customer Service Apprentice roles on offer, which come with a starting salary of £20,280, and are set to begin in February and March 2025. The event is free to attend, but spaces are limited and must be booked in advance on Eventbrite: EE Apprenticeship Recruitment Event Merthyr Tydfil 09 January 2025 Tickets, Multiple Dates | Eventbrite.

    During the event, attendees will have the chance to speak directly with representatives from EE, who will provide detailed information about the role and answer any questions. Careers advisers from Working Wales will also be available to provide free employability support, including assistance with CV writing, interview preparation, and tips for completing applications.

    Peter Hopkins, team manager at Working Wales, said: “We are thrilled to partner with EE to host this recruitment event at our careers centre in Merthyr Tydfil. This event is a great opportunity to explore the roles on offer and receive support to help make a strong application.”

    Working Wales is delivered by Careers Wales and funded by the Welsh Government to provide careers guidance and employability support to those aged 16 and above.
