All roads will lead to A Welsh Coal Mining Experience at Rhondda Heritage Park next month, as plans gear up for the Classic Car Show 2022.

Father’s Day weekend is set to be a busy one at A Welsh Coal Mining Experience.

The Classic Car Show makes a pit stop at the award-winning venue on Saturday, June 18, in partnership with the Glamorgan Classic Car Club.

There will also be a craft fayre the same day, held by Craft of Hearts, who are based at A Welsh Coal Mining Experience and are former winners of a UK-wide craft shop award. There will be hand-made goodies to browse and buy, as well as live demonstrations of the arts and crafts delivered by Crafts of Hearts.

Be fitted with your miner’s helmet and explore the former site of the Lewis Merthyr Colliery, ride DRAM to the top of the surface and explore the interactive displays, where you can see how we lived, worked, dressed and relaxed in the Rhondda during the coal mining boom.

Find out more in the free exhibition and then head to Caffe Bracchi for a delicious meal or light bite.

The Classic Car Show runs from 10.00am to 4.30pm. Entrance is £2 and children under the age of five go free.
