A host of beautiful models descended on the City Centre on Sunday, 17 June, when the Swansea Classic Vehicle Show rolled in.

Organised by Swansea BID (Business Improvement District), the gathering of well-loved classic cars, bikes, scooters and other gems, picked up where the popular Festival of Transport left off, with that event coming to the end of the road in 2016.

Enthusiasts and their motors gathered in the City Centre from for the family-friendly event – one of the most photographable attractions of the season, with classics from the 1950s, 60s 70s and 80s and earlier bringing some extra gleam to the City Centre.

Paul Whittaker from Swansea BID’s Events Team, said: “We are very pleased to take over the Swansea Classic Vehicle Show, right in the heart of the City Centre and, despite the rain, the event was well attended and brimming with atmosphere, visitors and music.

Vehicles were displayed from Castle Square along Princess Way, Union Street, Portland Street and Oxford Street, with free car parking available in all City Centre car parks, to encourage attendees.
