Rhian Wilkinson has announced her squad for the UEFA Women’s EURO play-off final against the Republic of Ireland as Cymru look to reach a major tournament for the first time.

Wilkinson has selected a 26-player squad for the two-legged final in Cardiff and Dublin.

Midfielder Ellen Jones returns to the squad for the first time since July and is the only change in the squad from the play-off semi-final victory over Slovakia as she replaces Charlotte Lee, who is involved in Cymru’s UEFA WU19 EURO qualifying campaign.

There are two other uncapped players in the squad as Mared Griffiths and Tianna Teisar are once again called up.

Centurion Sophie Ingle remains absent as she continues her recovery from her ACL injury, along with Elise Hughes and Esther Morgan.

Cymru welcome the Republic of Ireland to Cardiff for the first leg on Friday 29 November (KO 19:15) before travelling to the Aviva Stadium for the reverse fixture four days later on Tuesday 3 December (19:30 KO).

More than 13,000 tickets have been sold for the first leg at the Cardiff City Stadium, with the FAW hopeful of breaking the attendance record of 15,200 for a home women’s international match. Tickets are still available to purchase on the FAW ticketing website, priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children, with discounts available for Red Wall members.

Cymru: Olivia CLARK (FC Twente), Laura O’SULLIVAN-JONES (Gwalia United), Safia MIDDLETON-PATEL (Manchester United), Rhiannon ROBERTS (Real Betis), Josie GREEN (Crystal Palace), Charlie ESTCOURT (DC Power), Hayley LADD (Manchester United), Gemma EVANS (Liverpool), Mayzee DAVIES (Liverpool Feds – Dual contract with Manchester United), Lily WOODHAM (Crystal Palace – On loan from Seattle Reign), Ella POWELL (Bristol City), Anna FILBEY (Watford), Alice GRIFFITHS (Southampton), Angharad JAMES (Seattle Reign), Ellen JONES (Sunderland), Lois JOEL (Newcastle United), Rachel ROWE (Southampton), Carrie JONES (IFK Norrköping), Ffion MORGAN (Bristol City), Jess FISHLOCK (Seattle Reign), Ceri HOLLAND (Liverpool), Kayleigh BARTON (Charlton Athletic), Mary MCATEER (Sunderland), Hannah CAIN (Leicester City), Mared GRIFFITHS (Manchester United), Tianna TEISAR (Bristol City).
