The Adrian Flux British FIM Speedway Grand Prix takes over Cardiff on September 21 – and the action starts long before the engines fire up.

The FIM Speedway Grand Prix fanzone returns to Cardiff’s City Hall Lawn from 11:00 today (race da) with a fun-packed programme of entertainment for all the family ahead of the evening’s racing.

Four-time world champion Greg Hancock will be making a special guest appearance in the Welsh capital this weekend. He will be taking part in a Q&A with freestyle motocross and off-road truck racing star Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg on the main stage at 13:05.

The Californian will also be joining current world champion Tai Woffinden and Patryk Dudek for the Monster Energy Rig Riot from 14:00, featuring a burnout not to be missed from Woffy.

Fans can grab an autograph or speedway selfie at one of two signing sessions. The first at 13:45 features Woffinden, Dudek and Robert Lambert, with wild card Charles Wright, Danny King and Chris Harris taking part in the second at 15:00.

Wright also takes to the main stage at 12:20 when he will be appearing in a Q&A with the BT Sport team.

There will be no shortage of entertainment throughout the day with freestyle mountain bikes stunt performances at 11:30, 12:00, 12:45 and 14:45.

There will be live music on the main stage from Supernova at 11:45, 12:30, 13:15 and 14:30.

Fans have chances to get a photo with the World Championship trophies at the autograph table from 11:30 and 14:15.

Throughout the day, there will be a live graffiti showcase and DJ, a speedway reactions tester bike, sponsored rider signings, go karting, face painting and glitter tattoos and the chance to dress up as a speedway rider.

The Monster Energy Rig will be on hand and fans have the chance to buy Raw Speed: three-time world champion Tai Woffinden’s autobiography. There will also be SGP merchandise and programmes for sale.

The action then switches over to the Principality Stadium with gates opening at 15:30 and racing getting underway at 17:00.

If you still need a ticket for today’s Speedway Grand Prize in Cardiff, you can buy tickets from the box office at the WRU store on Westgate Street today (Saturday 21st September) between 9:30am – 5:30pm.
