With just days to go until the foodie favourite that is the Cowbridge Food and Drink Festival which will take place across this Spring Bank Holiday Weekend (May 28-29th), site plans are well underway to make sure this is an event not to be missed this year.

With something to suit all diets, ages and interests – moreish meats, vegan varieties, curries, cheeses, chutneys; scrumptious ciders, great gins, sweet treats and so much more at the main Arthur John site, the Old Hall Cowbridge Gardens will also have so much for visitors to enjoy.

A full site in itself but with plenty of gorgeous green areas in which to take a break, sit down and soak up the beautiful surroundings, festival goers will be able to enjoy a host of family friendly activities including falconry, ‘slimetastic’ fun with the Slime factory, a game or two of Petanque, make your own milkshakes with the Milk Shed team, learn about willow weaving with Out to Learn Willow or explore your creativity with top tips from a local watercolour artist.

There will also be plenty of craft stalls at which to pick up some lovely handmade products, from artwork to jewellery, glassware, woodwork and beautiful bespoke clothing.

And of course, being the festival that it is, sweet and savoury treats be readily available at Old Hall Gardens.

Speaking about this year’s event, festival manager Tracy James-Lieberman said:

“We’re nearly there now and genuinely so excited for this year’s event – there really is such a variety of produce to please everyone and the two sites complement each other brilliantly; whether you want to eat as you go around, buy to take home, sample something new or just soak up the atmosphere it’ll be a great place to spend a Bank Holiday Weekend!”

Old Hall Gardens is a non-ticketed site – for tickets to the main festival site, visit
