The newly refurbished Café R at Ruthin Craft Centre will be hosting an exclusive late night opening on Saturday 12th February to celebrate Valentine’s.

This will be the first late night opening for Café R since it reopened with a new look and brand in October 2021. The modern eatery located within the walls of Ruthin Craft Centre will be opened as usual from 9am throughout the day but will be welcoming Valentine’s diners between 5:30pm-8pm with a glass of prosecco on arrival.

Talented musician Jacob Elwy will be entertaining diners while they eat, diners are encouraged to book a table in advance to enjoy the special 3 course Valentine’s menu and entertainment.

New Head Chef, Jamie Winning has put together a special menu for the Restaurant’s first exclusive late night opening, with dishes including Thai salmon fishcake with rocket salad, Welsh Rump Steak with home cut chips and White chocolate and Baileys crème brulee. Couples can enjoy 3 courses for just £49.90 per couple, with a complimentary glass of prosecco on arrival.

Jamie Groves, Managing Director of Denbighshire Leisure Ltd, said “A lot of hard work has gone into creating the new Café R restaurant which reopened in October 2021. Every aspect of the Restaurant offers a high quality dining experience and we would love for our residents and visitors to dine with us at Café R on Valentine’s to try our very first early evening experience. Together with our new Head Chef and brilliant team at Café R, we are looking forward to hosting a great night supported by local produce, and local talent performing. This will be a taste of things to come at Café R as we build towards our new outdoor dining areas due to be complete this Easter.”
