    Festive family ice-skating is returning to the Celtic Manor this Christmas

    The Celtic Manor Resort’s annual festive event which is sponsored by Castle Howell, is offering a new festive experience for 2018.

    Called The Great Skate, it is promising families and skate goers-alike, plenty of festive fun this Christmas. Guests will be able to glide across a glistening ice rink under a crystal-clear roof in the spectacular setting of the resort’s Rooftop Garden.

    Open from 23rd November 2018 – 6th January 2019, visitors to The Great Skate will be able to warm up with delicious hot chocolate or a festive tipple from the licensed bar, sponsored by J2O, and savour the tasty delights of the Bratwurst Hut.

    Tickets are available to pre-book and prices start from £6.40 for adults and £5.60 for children. For families who would like the chance to meet magical fairytale characters on the rink or those who want to want to enjoy a late-night skating session, there are additional upgrade packages available.

    The Great Skate

    23rd November 2018 – 6th January 2019

    The Great Skate Sizzler

    23rd November 2018 – 6th January 2019

    Visitors can tuck into an array of traditional Christmas market favourites including delicious German Bratwurst and Frankfurter sausages freshly cooked on our open grill, as well as tasty beef burgers and more.  Guests will also get a warming winter glow with a glass of spiced mulled wine or try the ‘Christmas in a Cup’, then glide on over to finish up with some sweet treats.

    Let it Snow

    23rd November 2018 – 6th January 2019

    Families can make magical memories with an enchanting evening of festive fun at Celtic Manor Resort’s family themed skating session, ‘Let it Snow’.  Guests can enjoy a magical fairy-tale experience as they glide around dressed as Anna, Elsa and other frosty characters, as they sing along to much loved musical hits.

    Children’s tickets from £5.60*

    UPGRADE TO THE LET IT SNOW PACKAGE

    Includes skating, sizzling hot snack and a drink. After the skating session, guests can relax with a warming hot chocolate and a sizzling hot snack from the Bratwurst Hut, the perfect end to an enchanting winter evening.
