Flight Club, infamous for its epic bars and outrageously fun Social Darts, has thrown open the doors to its outside spaces and launched ‘Flight Club in Bloom’ for the summer season.

With a little help from Hendrick’s Gin, the rooftops and terraces across the Flight Club estate have been flooded with florals, creating a blissfully botanical spot to enjoy ice-cold cocktails in the sun.

In celebration of the Great British Summertime, a limited edition cocktail menu has been created with Hendrick’s Gin and Franklin & Sons, including the Garden Party shaken and stirred with Hendrick’s Flora Adora and a Seafoam Sour, verdant and inviting poured with Hendrick’s Neptunia. These cocktails will be available in every Flight Club, until September, for £10.50  – best enjoyed under direct sunlight!

With the long summer nights finally here, the rooftop terrace is a popular place to be and is somewhat a rarity in Cardiff, so you may want to book ahead before visiting. You can either book a space specifically on the rooftop or you can try and get a seat at one of the unserved tables after enjoying a game of social darts.

When you arrive, simply climb the stairs in Flight Club Cardiff to discover a stunning roof terrace filled with flora and fauna, including a full-sized tree that sprawls across the bar and is speckled with fairy-lights and hung with birdcages overflowing with flowers. There is an outdoor bar that you can order from and the terrace boasts a partial covering which keeps it a wind-free sun trap.

You can also find a spot in one of the semi-private sheds, now adorned with blossoms, or grab some friends and enjoy the gypsy cabin. With a DJ blasting out the tunes all weekend, The Roof Terrace at Flight Club Cardiff is the ultimate destination from noon ‘til night, with Hendrick’s Gin shaking up and serving the ultimate summer sippers.

And whilst you’re there, find the disco phonebox and dial up an all-time classic.
