The inaugural Moto Fest, held at Trac Môn Anglesey last weekend, attracted motorcyclists from across the UK, with thousands making the journey to enjoy the three-day festival at what is widely regarded as Britain’s most scenic race circuit.
Visitors fully booked every riding experience across Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Activities included track taster sessions with James Whitham, guided road rides with Kawasaki, Norton, Triumph and MotoGB, adventure trail rides with BMW, Kawasaki, Triumph and MotoGB, together with the opportunity to experience enduro and trials riding with Beta, Montesa, Electric Motion and Zero.
FIM Endurance World Champion Dan Linfoot remained in constant demand throughout the weekend, with visitors eager to secure one of his hugely popular pillion ride experiences aboard a full race-specification superbike.
Away from the riding activities, fans packed the MCN Stage in the main marquee to enjoy a full programme of interviews and entertainment hosted by the MCN editorial team. Guests included John McGuinness, Storm Stacey, Dan Linfoot and Dougie Lampkin, who shared stories and insights from their careers while interacting with festivalgoers.
Live music on both Friday and Saturday evenings provided entertainment for those staying in the sold-out on-site campsite, creating a vibrant festival atmosphere long after the riding had finished. Throughout the weekend, visitors also had the unique opportunity to watch the world’s best Trial riders compete in the FIM TrialGP World Championship across the spectacular coastal sections surrounding Trac Môn.
Following a successful first edition, the Moto Fest team is already looking ahead to 2027, with plans to build on the strong foundations established this year. Feedback from visitors, exhibitors and partners is now being reviewed to help shape an even bigger and better event.
Moto Fest Event Director Jake Miller said: “Overall, the initial feedback has been extremely positive, and we are delighted with both the attendance and how the event was delivered. As with any brand-new event, there are always valuable lessons to be learned, and we are carefully reviewing all visitor feedback to identify areas where we can make further improvements for next year.”
