Fridays fans in Wales will be able to celebrate the continued easing of lockdown on 26th April, as two Welsh restaurants will be reopening for outdoor dining – with a new menu.

Fridays has now opened bookings for its Cardiff Newport Road and Newport Friars Walk locations, and is encouraging fans to pre-book their outdoor dining slot to avoid missing out. Those that secure a slot will be treated to a new outdoor menu that has been created to bring fans top dishes to the alfresco setting on 26th April.

The new menu is jam-packed full of favourites including Fridays Sesame Chicken Strips tossed in Legendary Glaze, Fridays’ classics like the Ultimate Ribs, epic burgers and sharing plates for the whole family, with an array of starters and desserts to choose from. Alongside the tasty menu Fridays have curated a list of their ‘Top 10 Greatest Hits’ cocktails for guests to choose from including Purple Rain, Strawberry Daiquiri and Pornstar Martini.

Those who book for outdoor dining will see that Fridays has its famous stripes back. In celebration of its 35th anniversary in the UK this year, Fridays has relaunched its famous red and white stripes uniform. The iconic polo shirts, made entirely from recycled plastic, will be rolled out to Fridays restaurants across the country, appearing first in those reopening for outdoor dining.

Robert B. Cook, Fridays CEO, says: “We are beyond excited to welcome guests back in Cardiff and Newport to celebrate the easing of lockdown with us. The Fridays team have been counting down the days until they can get back to work and once again welcome guests back. To avoid disappointment we are asking guests to pre-book and to follow the guidelines we have at both restaurants to keep everyone safe and make sure we stay on track for the next stage of lockdown easing.”
