Caerphilly Food Festival is set to once again delight visitors when it returns to the town on Saturday 12th May.

Thousands are expected to descend on Caerphilly town centre – just a ten-mile hop from the capital city of Cardiff – as it plays host to 100 stall holders who will tempt taste buds with delicious aromas, sizzling sounds and mouth-watering produce.

The streets of Caerphilly will be transformed into a marketplace between 9am and 5pm bursting with culinary delights complemented by craft and activity stalls and the ever popular farmers market.

The event promises to be a fun day out for the whole family with activities planned throughout the day including face painting, donkey rides, a children’s fun fair and street entertainers.

Brand new attractions include; children’s cupcake decorating demonstrations, healthy eating fruit ideas for kids workshops and a number of different cookery demonstrations.

The dedicated cheese market will also return to the Twyn car park offering a fantastic selection of cheeses to taste and purchase from a number of producers including Lymn Bank Farm, Nibble Nose Cheese and Croome Cuisine.

Entry to the festival is free.

2 for 1 entry to Caerphilly Castle on Saturday 12th May only.
