Greggs has opened its new shop over the weekend in Colwyn Bay, creating 10 new jobs for the area.

The shop will stock freshly prepared Greggs favourites, such as the on-the-go-retailer’s popular Sausage Roll, Steak Bake and delicious vegan alternatives. Customers can take advantage of Greggs’ deals throughout the day, including its new 3-part Big Deal – a main, a drink, plus the choice of a side – all for just £5.

To celebrate the month of love, Greggs has launched Valentine’s Day gift cards, spreading the roll-mance across the UK just in time for the 14th February. Whether its Valentine’s or Galentine’s, Greggs fans can load up the card with anything from £5 to a whopping £50, to gift the ultimate pastry treat – because there’s nothing that says “be mine” like the gift of Sausage Rolls or a Pink Jammie Doughnut.

Those looking for a bite to eat in the evening can enjoy a range of hot food from gooey Mozzarella & Cheddar Bites, to crispy Southern Fried Chicken Goujons, and even a host of tasty pizza slices including the all-new Chicken Tandoori, BBQ Chicken & Bacon and Veggie Feast.

Customers looking to skip the queues can get their goodies delivered straight to their door with Just Eat and UberEATS, or alternatively grab a bite on the go through Click + Collect via the Greggs App. The Greggs App gives customers access to a variety of perks and tasty rewards. For every 9 purchases in different categories – from hot drinks, to sandwiches, app users can get one completely free. New users of the Greggs App also receive a free hot drink or iced drink of their choice upon registration, as well as a free sweet treat to celebrate their birthday each year.

The Colwyn Bay shop opens with a modern new look and comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. The shop is open from 6am to 6pm daily.

Gillian Long, Retail Operations Director for Greggs, said: “Our new shop in Colwyn Bay has brought 10 new jobs to the local area, as well as providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their Greggs favourites.”
