Gwent pub reopens following refresh

The pub reopened on 3rd July with an exciting new look

The Bumble Bee pub

The Bumble Bee pub in Gwent has reopened with a new look following an £150k investment.

The pub’s refresh has seen the introduction of new wallpaper, stylish lighting, new seating, and uplifting colour palettes. With an updated bar area and investment in team training, the pub has now officially reopened with a fresh new look.

Chris & Donna Davis, who run The Arthrogryposis Group UK, a national charity for people affected by Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita, were chosen as the pub’s community heroes to pour the first pints in celebration of the pub’s reopening.

The pub which recently welcomed a new General Manager, is situated in Blackwood town and is dog friendly. The Bumble Bee is ideally situated for a drink or meal before or after a visit to the nearby Blackwood Gate Retail Park.

The pub also offers a traditional Sunday Roast each week, all served with fluffy mashed potato, roast potatoes, seasonal veggies, home-made Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and gravy.

Guests can also enjoy a new mid-week offer of a main meal and a drink for £11.25. The dishes vary daily with a pie and a drink on Mondays, burger and a drink on Tuesdays, curry and a drink on Wednesdays and steak and a drink for £12.50 on Thursdays.
